Thanks to everyone who came out to our CD release parties this last weekend. We had a great time and we almost sold a 100 CD's between the 2 nights at the Lava Lounge and The Cherry Bean. If you didn't make it out we'll have plenty of CD's for the next shows. I was surprised how well Brandon played on Friday night considering how shit faced he was, but I don't blame him I was excited for the release of our first full lengfth album, as well as celebrating 4/20. The quality of the recording far surpassed any of my expectations. Aaron from Silentone Productions did a killer job on the mix down and it sounds awesome. He had a little help from Richard Bryant of Greystone Studios. His wealth of knowledge in the recording industry is unreal. It's amazing just to watch him work. He has toured and recorded with such great performers as The Doobie Brothers and Chaka Khan. Thanks to both of them for all their hard work.
Crazy Cris Criswell of Sin-Cal Psychos and Fringe Clothing, is officially our biggest fan since I got word that he had HFS tattooed on the inside of his lip last night. OUCH!! I can't wait to see it. He's one down MoFo.
We have a lot of killer shows coming up and we are trying to set up some more local all ages shows, so check back often. Now that I got my new computer up and going, you'll start see more updates and I'm currently working on a new music video that I hope to have posted in the next couple of weeks. -Randy

We Have been so busy the last couple of months, playing shows and working on the layout for the new CD and it's finally finished! So come out and help us celebrate. Let's PARTY!!!
We are also playing in South Lake Tahoe with 3 Up Front at Whiskey Dicks Salloon on 5/5 "Cinco De Mayo", and on the following day 5/6. Come back to our place with us for the after party just a couple of blocks from the bar.
I have to say thanks to Shane From Fringe Clothing www.fringegear.com, Crazy Cris From Sin-Cal Psychos and everyone who helped us out while we were down in Escondido at the Fringe Clothing Skate Competition that was held at Kit Carson Skatepark on . The kids were all very talented and we saw some kids that looked like they were barely old enough to walk busting some sik tricks on the ramps in the park that day. We Played a 40 minute set just before the beginning of the Finals. We had a great time, Crazy Cris and Tyee got into it and threw some blows, we partied at the local bar on St. Patricks' Day until we got cut off for being loud and disturbing to the Karaoke crowd. Then we went back to our motel and partied until they threatened to call the cops on us. Another road trip, mission accomplished -Randy

We have had a lot of things going on in the last couple of months. We recently finished recording tracks for our next album (not yet titled) that we hope to release in May or June. We spent 3 days at Greystone studios in Monterey, recording with Producer Richard Bryant (Formerly of the Doobie Brothers) and Co-producer / engineer Aaron Rauber (Silentone Productions, he also recorded/mastered our Moving On demo). It was an awesome experience to finally be in a fully professional studio and not in a home studio this time. The new album will have 12 new songs, 1 prev unrecorded song and possibly a bonus track. Check out our myspace page for updates.
We played 10 shows in Dec. including Whiskey Dicks in S. Lake Tahoe on New Years, The Gilroy Skatepark for Fringe Clothing, The Jury Room for Sin-Cal Psychos, The YMCA in Soledad and the Lava Lounge. We were also open for Riff Raff in early December and for Psychosomatic and Dr. Know in February. We have to thank Sin-Cal Psychos, Fringe Clothing, and Waste Of Time Productions for helping us out.
We have some big events coming up including a show at CSUMB this Thursday, The Salinas Skate Park this Saturday, and In Escondito on St. Patricks weekend, where we will be playing at a Fringe Clothing BMX and Skate event at skate parks on both Sat. and Sun.
We are starting to plan our tour route for our East coast tour in June. We are planning on playing, CA, AZ, NM, TX, KY, PA, NY, NJ, MA, IL, MI, NE, NV, and back to CA. If you are in any of the states and know of a venue that we should play at, please let me know. hateforstate@sbcglobal.net -Randy-

We just got back from our tour through Arizona last week. We all had the best time of our lives. We got to see lots of new places and we met a lot of new friends along the way. The first night we arrived in Havasu City, AZ we stepped out of the van into 90 degree heat at 2:00am and almost shit our pants. We decided that sleeping in a tent was not happening so we slept in the rental van with the engine running and the AC on all night. We have to thank everyone who helped us out on the road, especially our good friends Shan, Tawn, and their kids, Chesli, Caitlynn and Nathan who gave us a couch to sleep on 2 nights in a row, got us a motel room in Kingman, fed us, hooked us up with the Roadrunner show, partied with us and made us feel at home in their home just outside of Phoenix. Thanks!
We spent 7 days traveling around AZ we stayed a couple nights at Lake Havasu where we met our friends Cris and Sherri and their kids, and their friends Mike, Gary, Kerri and Robert who had a minor boating accident that weekend but made it out un-hurt. Thanks for partying with us and for the steaks you cooked us, they kicked ass.
We also have to thank the staff at all three venues Taquila Bobs in Kingman AZ, The Roadrunner near Anthem and Phoenix AZ, and Knuckleheads in Havasu City AZ for allowing us to make some noise and for giving us free beer.
To all the other bands we played with and anyone else I forgot to mention, Thanks alot. This one trip we will remember for the rest of our lives. -Randy-

We are going to be playing On the main stage at this years Monterey Rock & Art Festival. For advance tickets go to www.montereyrockandart.com. Go to myspace.com/hateforstate for last minute shows and watch for us at The Lava Lounge in Monterey.
We have to Thank "Grandpa Criswell" for setting up the AMJAM BMX Competition in East Salinas a couple of weeks ago. Word spead across the internet and after only a few days of promotion, Approx. 60 - 75 people were there to tear up the course in the middle of China town. They are going to try to set up another comp. sometime in July. We'll keep you posted. The BMX crew is also working on posting video of the day. We'll post a link as soon as it's up.
We would like to Thank "Big Mike" and Daniel from South County Performance Cycles for the Red and White support party that they threw for the Hells' Angels crew that attended the Outlaw Hollister Run 2006 this last weekend. Thanks for the beer, food and shirts guys. I've finally got video posted. - Randy -

The website is finally back up!!! I've had some trouble with my computer and the web server in the last couple weeks but I got it under control now. I'm stil working on getting some video on here, hopefully I'll have it done soon. Our last show at the Lava Lounge with FUX was awesome. The crowd really got into it, and we had a good time. We got some good video of that show also, I'll try to get some of it posted here as soon as I can.
We have been working on some new material for the next album. We hope to get back into the studio in another month or two. We've been playing some of the new stuff in our recent shows so come check us out.
We are working on scheduling some future shows, and hopefully we can get some all ages shows set up somewhere local. We're also working on setting up some gigs in the Sacramento area. We hope to play The Stag in Woodland again, they had a great crowd there also.
