Born at the turn of the millenium, HFS recorded and produced their first demo CD in the summer of 2000, out of their practice pad. After playing numerous house parties and even traveling to Laytonville, CA for a couple of their local parties, they finally made their debut opening for three of the popular punk and metal bands from the area, at Vivas' bar in downtown Monterey (before all members of the band were of age) in early 2001. HFS has been featured on several occasions in "Your Music Magazine," for local shows, On AMP TV they interviewed and played live on the air on two occasions. The Coast Monterey Weekly fetaured them in a full page article, 103.9 Santa Cruz X radio has done a live interview and plays HFS during their local showcase programs on a regular basis.

HFS has opened, and headlined many shows at The Lava Lounge in downtown Monterey, with the help of Paul the promoter, along with many other shows in the area including: The Cherry Bean Coffe House in Oldtown Salinas, The Aptos Club in Aptos, Uglys' Tequila Bar in Citrus Heights, The Hammerhead Club in Aptos, The Grassy Knoll in Salinas, The Mediterranian Club in Aptos, The Lava Lounge in Monterey, The Black Box Caberet at CSUMB, The Warehouse Club in Salinas, Jim Dandys' Club in Prunedale, Club Octane in Monterey, Chippers Bar and Grill in Seaside, The Aptos Club in Aptos, The Cherry Bean Coffee House in Salinas, The Music Mayhem Festival in Soledad, "The End 05" movie premier party in Pine Canyon, in the Turf Club at the Monterey Rock And Art Festival 2003 and 2004, and on the main stage in 2005. In the summer of 2003 HFS teamed up with Brad from Stabin Cabin Productions to produce their second and far better demo CD.

Early 2005, shortly after Randy took over as front man they scheduled studio time once again with Brad, from Stabin Cabin Productions, to record their album entitled, Padded Room, released July 22, 2005, shortly after Sean moved to Hawaii. Brandon who had been in training in the few months prior to Sean leaving stepped up to take over as their perminant drummer. With the help of Aaron from Retribution and his mobile recording studio they recorded a short 3 song album titled, Moving On, that was released early April 2005.
