The Monterey Rock Wars are coming up again and we need everyone to come out and support HFS on Friday July 6 at the Lava Lounge. It's gonna be a rager, don't miss out.
We have already booked a few of the shows for our summer tour August 1-13 sponsored by Fringe Clothing and Knife Records. Make sure you check out our "upcoming Shows" page for the latest tour info.
This weekend we will be playing Fri. night at the Lava Lounge in Monterey and on Saturday night at Hot Dog Heaven in Los Banos. Both of these shows will kick ass so if you are in the area, come out and party with us.
Friday July 13th we will be playing at The Jury Room with 3 Up Front and Wasted Noise. A small venue but a blast none the less. Then the next day we will be heading up to Woodland for the West Coast Villains Compound Party. Last year we partied until the sun came up. The best party I have ever been to. This year there will be 6 bands playing music all day. If you are going to be in the area, send us a message on myspace and we'll hook you up with directions.
The following week, West Coast Villains will be coming down to play here at The Lava Lounge with us. These guys put on a great show and I'm really looking forward to seeing them play.
This years Monterey Rock and Art Festival will be the last one. After many good years Brad has decided to move on to bigger and better things. This is a show that we always look forward to and we hope someone will start another festival in Monterey. It's sad to think that the home of one of the greatest festivals ever (Monterey Pop Festival) will soon be with out a rock festival. The legendary picture known across the globe of Hendrix burning his beloved Strat. on stage was taken there. Thanks Brad for all the good times.
